Service overview

labrun is a hands-on cert prep platform. We provide lab notebooks, a companion panel that validates your work against your own cloud account, and supporting documentation. You bring the cloud account and the willingness to build.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials private and for any activity that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, email taqi@labrun.dev right away.

Your cloud account

Labs run in your own cloud account. You are responsible for any charges your cloud provider bills you for resources you create, even when those resources are created from a labrun notebook. Labs are designed to stay under $2 per session and automatic cleanup runs at the end of every lab; we strongly recommend you run that cleanup before closing your notebook.

Subscription and cancellation

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe. You can cancel from the Stripe customer portal at any time; you keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial periods.

Acceptable use

Use labrun to learn. Do not redistribute lab notebooks, copy them into competing products, or use the companion panel to attack other people's cloud accounts. Do not attempt to bypass payment, rate limits, or access controls.

Disclaimers and liability

labrun is provided as-is. Cert preparation outcomes vary; passing the exam is on you. We do our best to keep labs and validators correct, but we cannot guarantee they will be defect-free at every moment. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will surface meaningful changes in the product or via email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date counts as acceptance.
